If you were the wife, at what point would you become suspicious? Be honest!”

I have a side chick who is a police officer.When she misses me, she just come to my house in uniform and arrest me in presence of my wife and takes me to her home till the next day.

Then she brings me back and tell my wife “we are not done with the investigations yet. I shall pick him up anytime we want more from him”

And my innocent wife will always say: ‘madam officer, thank you so much, I appreciate your kindness.😂The arrangement worked perfectly for months.

Every time the officer missed her “prime suspect,” she would arrive with flashing lights, knock loudly on the gate, and announce:

“Where is Mr. Otieno? We have received fresh intelligence!”My wife would immediately cooperate.”Officer, he’s in the bedroom. Please do your job.”One day, however, things took an unexpected turn.

The police officer arrived as usual, ready to arrest me for another round of “investigations.”Before she could speak, my wife smiled and said:”Madam officer, I’m so happy you’ve come.”

The officer looked confused.”Why?”My wife replied:”Since you seem to be the only officer handling this case, I reported another suspect yesterday. A female banker. She keeps calling my husband every evening. Please arrest her too.”

The officer nearly swallowed her whistle.I stood there sweating like a politician facing an audit.The following week, things got even worse.

My wife prepared tea and snacks for the officer and asked:”Madam, after all these months, have you at least found evidence?”

The officer stammered.”Uhhh… investigations are still ongoing.”My wife nodded seriously.

“Good. Because if you fail to solve the case, I will personally write to the Inspector General and request that you move into our compound permanently.”

The officer almost resigned on the spot.Since that day, arrests have reduced dramatically.

The case file remains open.The suspect remains under observation.And my wife still proudly tells neighbors:

“Our police service is working very hard. One officer has dedicated her entire career to my husband alone.”

Meanwhile, I am the only Kenyan citizen praying every day that investigations are finally closed due to lack of evidence. 😂😂😂
